Stephen Edward RADOMSKY (1893-1984)

Born in Poland on 26 December 1893, he was the son of Thomas Radomsky (1859-1933) and Anna Kuboczck (1861-?). He immigrated to Canada with his family in 1898 and was naturalized in 1902. He grew up in the Rural Municipality of Rockwood and graduated from the Brandon Normal School (1921).

On 28 October 1922, he married Ewdokia “Dorothy” Saranchuk (c1896-1981) in the Rural Municipality of Springfield and the couple resided at 12-12-4E.

Educator, Realtor

He worked as a teacher around rural Manitoba, including services as Principal of Tolstoi School (1923-1924) and as a teacher at Fyrer School (1930-1931), Sheffield School (1934), and Poplar Park School (1935). He later moved to Winnipeg where, by the mid-1940s, the worked in real estate until retirement. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

He died at the Grace General Hospital on 19 November 1984 and was buried in the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
