Vintage Royal Typewriter
This very reliable, solid, very heavy vintage Royal Model No. 10 manual typewriter was purchased in Winnipeg at the Ediphone Company. There’s a half page ad in the Winnipeg Free Press for this style Royal Typewriter on September 16, 1926. It has bevel glass panes on both sides & all original parts are working. I love the bell on the back & the decals are crisp, although some of the sales decals have worn off, you can read the phone number in Winnipeg. There is a ribbon spool with the uptake reel but time has rendered the ribbon very brittle. With a bit of cleaning it would look great in any office or home or even museum that tells the story of how writers used this magnificent piece of equipment. The sound of the keys striking, the carriage moving & the return with the bell is sure to evoke memories of how people used to type letters. Comes with a cover.
