The Manitoba Genealogical Society, Inc. is once again Celebrating Stories Your Family Tell at Doors Open Winnipeg on May 27 and 28, 2023. We invite you all to come out to visit us, take advantage of our helpful volunteers who will help you with your genealogy, and you may win our door prize.
UPDATE:
MGS had 45 guests on May 27th and 15 on May 28th. We held a door prize for guests to fill out entries. The winner of the door prize was Mavis Whicker. Congratulations! The door prize was a big gift basket with MGS publications, genealogy tools, MGS bag, and more. Doors Open 2023 was quite successful, with a steady stream of very interested guests who checkout out our wall displays of Manitoba history, our Vivid-Pix software tool for fixing old photos and documents, our MGS subscriptions to Ancestry Library Edition, NewspaperArchives.com and of course, our Manitoba Name Index.
