As school children we learn this poem by John McCrae including the origin and meaning behind it. As adults, in our busy lives, we may forget the meaning, and the reasons why so many may have sacrificed all for the greater good. Let us take the time to honor those who sacrificed for our freedoms, some we may know personally, but for the greater many that may go unnamed we honor them too. Those who have served and are still with us require our respect, and in so doing we can do our part to keep them safe and well, by following COVID-19 health guidelines. UNTIL WE CAN MEET AGAIN.
