Our next meeting will be on April 21st at 7:00 P.M. at the Dauphin Family History Center. Dean Durston will give a presentation from the Dauphin Pioneer’s Assoc. This will be a very informative evening.
For your information: Members of the Dauphin Pioneer’s Assoc. are families of the settlers that came to the Dauphin district before the Canadian Northern Railway was opened to Dauphin in 1896. They are celebrating their 100th anniversary, as an organization, this year. Some of our Branch members are families of these settlers. It will be a very interesting evening as many people do not know who the first settlers were.
