MGS members in Winnipeg will remember Oriole’s stories she presented at the Winnipeg Branch Christmas sharing nights over the years. What started as short simple stories from her past expanded and grew until she tackled her major work.
Oriole A. Vane Veldhuis, lives and writes in Winnipeg. Having enjoyed a wonderful childhood on a farm near Stockton, Manitoba, her heart remains in rural Manitoba. A varied career of teaching, Diaconal ministry, studies, parenting and travel provided a rich resource for writing.
