by Gordon McBean and friends
Christmas is coming and we may be thinking of sharing our family history with other members of the family. After all we have worked on it all year and have some new information to share. We have all seen their eyes gloss over when we start talking about graves and census forms. A place to start is to write up a short article on your “First Manitobans” and submit it to the MGS “Generations” Editor. I have submitted several this year.
Now that I have started writing short stories I am looking at what else I can do with this information to make it appealing to other members of my family. I have been assembling a number of ideas and will be trying them out. In this series of upcoming webinars and recorded videos I will introduce you to a number of media projects you can finish in time for Christmas.
The schedule and lineup of presenters is still being finalized. The workshop series is free to members and $25.00 to non members.
