From January until mid-November 2023 we have received 45 different journal publications in our library. Depending on the organization, these journals are usually published multiple times a year (the most common 4 times per year). So far this year (keep in mind December numbers are not included), we have received a total of 140 issues, of which 89 are digital and 51 are printed. As paper, printing and mailing costs have risen dramatically over the years and the ease of digital publication at a very minimal cost is much more practical, more and more organizations (including our own) have gone or are going digital.

The table below shows the journals we have received so far this year, the organization name and the format, either digital, paper or both. The format Both indicates that some issues were received in paper format and others digitally.

The digital copies are available for viewing on the Resource Centre’s computers and the current print copies are available for review within the Resource Centre. The printed journal back issues are available for members to review in the Resource Centre or to check out for up to 3 weeks.
