Vintage Royal Wedding Mug
Weatherby Hanley England, Royal Falcon Ironstone Cup. It was made to commemorate the 1981 Royal Wedding of the Prince of Wales & Lady Diana Spencer. One one side there is a picture of Charles & Diana inside a red love heart. The heart contains the words: “HRH. Prince Charles Lady Diana Spencer to commemorate their marriage 29th July 1981.” This side is also decorated with the royal lion & unicorn, a crown, a red Welsh dragon, & fleur de lis. On the back side is the Prince of Wales’ three feathers beneath which are the words ‘Ich Dien’ meaning ‘I serve’. This cup measures approximately 3.5”. The top rim & handle have some gilding & it’s in new condition.

Dunoon Ceramics, Made in Scotland. On mug: ‘To commemorate the Marriage of the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, 29th July 1981’. Heraldic crest & Fleurs de Lis in dark navy. Both in new condition.
