Amber Bole was an IT professional, and was a very important part of putting the MGS Library catalogue online and maintaining it over the years, from her computer in Toronto. She died in Winnipeg on February 24th. Her obituary may be seen at

On behalf of everyone at MGS, we would like to offer our deepest sympathy to her parents, Mary and Jim Bole. Mary is a long-time member of the Branch and was the MGS librarian until 2019. Members of the library committee are inviting anyone interested to make a donation to MGS in Amber’s memory. These funds will go to not only honour her memory, but to also support the online library catalogue.
