The Genealogists’ Magazine is published by the Society of Genealogists four times a year. We currently have 5 years of paperback issues that you can review in or borrow from the Resource Centre. Additionally, the new digital copies can be reviewed on-site from any of the Resource Centre’s workstations.

The June issue contains 68 pages of articles and news. Some highlighted articles include:

  • The Medieval family who adopted their name from Gaddesby in Leicestershire by David J. Lewis
  • The Hebdons: An English merchant family and their relationship with Russia by Peter Wynn
  • Your Questions Answered: Discovering Your Military Ancestors; A Genealogy Research Guide
  • The Jones Printing Dynasty – the worthy and the unworthy; the translator and authoress; and ‘Goody Two Shoes’ by Melanie Winterbotham
  • Improvements to parish registers initiated by Daines and Shute Barrington by John Wintrip
  • Photograph Albums – a thing of the past? by Helen Dawkins LRPS

Come visit us this summer to explore past issues of The Genealogists’ Magazine along with other journals that we have access to.
