MGS has four types of memberships. Please choose one to see your options which includes MGS branch options.
Membership for an individual person with or without branches
For an individual with a MGS member at same address
For an individual under age 23 with valid student ID
Includes libraries, societies and other similar organizations
NOTE: Associate members will have to sign up for an associate membership with a unique email address after the individual member signs up. If you want to use the same email address, yet have your own membership number, you need to email membership@mbgenealogy.com for your request to be processed manually.
Article 11 of the MGS Constitution & Bylaws describes The Branches of the Society. In part, it reads:
11.4 In order to be recognized as a member of a Branch, a person must first be a member of the Society and
actively support the objectives and programs of the Society.
MGS has three branches:
- Dauphin Branch (local events and branch library in Dauphin)
- Southeast & Winnipeg Branch (regular bi-monthly presentations, and newsletter)
- South West Branch (monthly presentations, newsletter and branch library in Brandon)
Branch events are subject to change, and are scheduled in advance, and communicated to their members.
