The Southwest Branch Workshop “Celebrating Our Roots” will be held on Saturday, April 22 at Knox United Church, Brandon MB. Their annual Heritage Dinner will be held following the workshop. Guest speaker will be Gordon Goldsborough who will present on “Abandoned Manitoba”. Details on speakers are included in the following poster. The Westman Multicultural Festival (formerly called Brandon Winter Festival) will be held in Brandon from January 26 – 29, with seven pavilions participating – English, Honduran, Irish, Mauritius, Philippine, Scottish and Ukrainian. The Southwest Branch of MGS will be hosting a display at the Scottish Pavilion sharing information about the branch and its programs.
