East European Genealogical Society Presentation

“Austro-Hungarian Military Records and Ukrainian Heraldry Society in L’viv, Ukraine”
Presentation by Dr. Andriy Grechylo. Dr. Grechylo (visiting from L’viv, Ukraine) will speak about the registration cards of military men of the Austro-Hungarian army as a genealogical source, and will also provide information about the Ukrainian Heraldry Society activities, publications and conferences. A question and answer session will follow.
Andriy has published several books and designed hundreds of coats of arms, flags, banners and seals for over 1000 different municipalities and institutions. In 1990, he founded the Ukrainian Heraldry Society and is an editor of the bulletin Znak (The Sign) and the yearly journal Genealogichni zapysky (Genealogical Notes).
